The internet is where you will most likely find the best deals on your printer ink cartridges. Especially for HP Photosmart D5400 ink cartridges because like a number of other  printers the HP Photosmart D5400 uses five separate HP ink cartridges which adds up to a hefty price tag when buying on the high street. Although the internet is the cheapest price there are hundreds of different retailers all claiming to offer the best prices, so how do you find the cheapest one? A common misconception is that if you type in “cheapest HP ink cartridges” into Google the cheapest retailers will appear in the search results. This is wrong, the reason being that the Google search engine isn’t designed to find the cheapest price of a product, what it is designed to do is find relevant website pages based on your search terms. The key here is that Google finds specific web pages not websites, this means if you are specific with your search terms i.e include your printer model, it will find specific pages where ink cartridges for that printer can be found and lots of them all just one click away. By having the specific pages once click away means you can click the first result, check the price, click back, click the second result, check the price, click back, and so on… This makes comparing the price far quicker than if you were starting from the homepage of every retailer’s website and clicking through the whole site to find your ink to check the price.
