Are you running out of places at home to store things? If so, you are not alone because it is very common for families to find themselves low on storage space. One problem many families has is deciding what to do with all of the shoes the family owns. If there are just four people in your family and you all own at least twelve pair of shoes and boots, you have dozens of pairs of footwear that inevitably get in the way by cluttering hallways and closets.

You should consider buying a shoe storage unit of some type. There are inexpensive over-the-door shoe sleeves that you could buy for each member of your family. Everyone could store the shoes they are not using in their sleeve which would hang on the inside of their bedroom door. You also could buy a large closet shoe storage unit that snaps or screws together. This type of unit could be erected on the back wall of a closet so that it will get many pair of shoes up and off the floor.

If you have a home office and need some additional office storage space, consider buying some nice looking inexpensive shelves. There are some attractive wood shelving units to consider as well as some metal shelves that are commonly sold at large department stores. You could then pick up some plastic storage bins, label them and then store away items like copying paper, bills, books and so forth.
