Denver is a great city to visit. Even if you are only stopping by for a couple of days on your way up to the mountains, there is plenty to see in the mile high city. If you are from out of state the price rises to $13.00, which is still a very affordable way to spend the afternoon. The visiting shows change on a regular basis so check back often. One month you might take in a retrospective of Rothko paintings while the next month a Matisse exhibit might be in town. A visit to the Denver Art Museum is fun for the whole family.
